Adelante Awards 2025

The Adelante Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporations in the St. Louis Metro Area.
This year’s theme "Empowerment in Action" – Recognizing individuals and organizations that inspires change and progress. The Adelante awards highlight the significant impact our Leaders have in our community fostering growth and building a stronger Greater St. Louis Region for everyone.
Join us in recognizing those who are making a difference and inspiring others to contribute to our vibrant community!

1. HCC Lifetime Achievement Award

HCC member with 20+ years of experience demonstrating the following qualities:

- Significantly contributing to the development and advancement of the Hispanic and Latino community in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

- Continuous and meritorious service, support, and leadership.

2. Civic Award of the Year

HCC member organization or individual who, as a direct results of their activities, has contributed to improving the quality of life of Hispanic and Latino community members.

3. HCC Emerging Leader Young Leader Award

HCC member (35 years old and younger) with notable contributions to the Hispanic Chamber and/or the St Louis community in:

- Actively contributing to the betterment of their place of employment and/or the St Louis community

- Consistently supporting the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce through his/her personal time and participation

- Note: Include the nominee’s month/year of birth for age validation.

4. HCC Company of the Year

HCC member majority-owned company that has demonstrated the following qualities:

- Experienced growth in number of employees

- Increased sales or unit volumes

- Offered innovative products or services

- Contributed to the advancement of the Hispanic community in particular and the larger community in general

5. HCC Businessperson of the Year

HCC member that has demonstrated the following qualities:

- Provided entrepreneurial leadership required for long-term success

- Proven track record of leading business enterprises as demonstrated by outstanding sales

- Contributed to the advancement of other Hispanic entrepreneurs through mentoring and support.

6. HCC Emerging Business of the Year

HCC member business that is five (5) years old or younger that has demonstrated the following qualities:

- Steady employment and/or sales growth

- Innovative products or services

- Majority owned by a Hispanic individual

- Note: Include the date the nominee’s business start for age validation.

7. HCC Artist of the Year

HCC member who has demonstrated success in the arts

- Demonstrates exceptional creativity and skill in their craft

- Highlights and promotes Hispanic / Latino culture

- Recognized for their work through awards, exhibitions, or media, expanding the reach and visibility of Hispanic / Latino culture.

Notes about nominating:

1. Consideration for the award will be based off the provided information and no additional research will be done. Please provide as complete of a picture of the nominee’s background and successes so that judges can adequately evaluate their candidacy.

2. Ensure that your nominee is a member of the HCC before submitting their information.

3. Include metrics and results as often as possible to able to quantify impact of the nominee.

4. For all awards, the nominees will be narrowed down to three finalists and then one winner will be selected.

5. The awards are selected by a confidential and independent panel of judges, not by the HCC staff or Board of Directors.

6. Disclaimer: The judging panel reserves the right to decide which awards will be bestowed at the 2025 Adelante Awards and is not required to award every category.
