It is a different world for job seekers today than it was a decade ago. While technology is most certainly a change agent in the job search equation, it does not stand alone. The changing norms of the hiring process are an important factor in today’s screening and hiring process. No longer does an application or resume separately reign in the application process. The focus of the session is designed to assist and point to best practices when applying for employment. Individuals with a long career at one company will be a topic of discussion as well as individuals with limited experience.
