CG Immigration Law, LLC is a small immigration law office located on Cherokee Street in St. Louis, MO. We serve clients in the bi-state region, and across the US, with USCIS and EOIR. Our mission is to provide potential and existing clients with access to the information they need to make the best choice for themselves. We are also active in immigration advocacy and community networks.

Staff Attorney Duties:
•Maintain a diverse client caseload of family-based immigration, VAWA/U Visa, complex naturalization, asylum, PERM, and removal defense cases.
• Prepare immigration applications, attend USCIS interviews, make appearances before the EOIR, research applicable law, compose memoranda, write client affidavits, and draft motions and briefs as needed.
• Counsel immigrants and their families regarding immigration legal remedies. • Represent CG Immigration in immigrant advocacy meetings, community organizing events, regional/state associations, and other public forums.

A minimum of 2 weekend work days are required biannually. • Manage reporting and case management systems. • Supervise and mentor administrative staff, volunteers, and interns.

•Minimum 2 years of law experience.
• Any state bar membership is required.
• Computer and internet skills required.
• Previous experience working with victims of crime and/or removal defense strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish or second language preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience supervising volunteers and/or administrative staff is preferred.
• A one-year commitment is required, after the 6-week paid trial period.
