Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • You will enter orders received via various communication channels (email, phone, fax) into the SAP system
  • You may coordinate with import/export compliance agencies
  • You will provide sales support to assigned Sales Account Managers, including issue resolution, pricing maintenance and other customer needs
  • You will coordinate with shipping locations, production planners, transportation and credit to ensure seamless order transactions
  • You will coordinate bookings with freight forwarders
  • You will answer all non-technical inquiries including: shipment tracing, material pricing, product availability
  • You will resolve order and service issues by gathering and analyzing data to identify solutions
  • You will enter sample orders as requested by customers and sales
  • You will communicate Safety Data Sheets, Tech Sheets, Certificate of Analysis and other required documents to customers
  • You may provide necessary regulatory information and forms for export shipments to the appropriate agencies
  • You may manage Letters of Credit 
  • You will understand and apply INCO terms for shipments
  • You will build strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • You may have occasional travel for customer meetings or training
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor degree in a business-related field OR 3+ years of order management experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to speak Spanish required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Able to make timely decisions, organized, efficient and demonstrates time management skills
  • Takes owner ship of issue resolution and is willing to go above and beyond to provide high quality service
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well independently and in team
Required Experience:
  • Export experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
