CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description

Betallic, a global leader of balloon manufacturing, is seeking an energetic customer service representative to join our team. The customer service representative’s primary job function is to ensure each customer has a positive experience.  If you enjoy speaking with and helping others, this may be the ideal position for you!  This individual will be responsible for the following.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create an exceptional experience when interacting with customers to address their concerns, answer their questions, and assist them with their needs.
  • Build dynamic knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Process and follow up on customer orders.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries, such as product availability, status of an order, or shipment info, are processed and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Resolve customer issues with professionalism and respect while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Assist account managers in analysis and meeting preparation for customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales & shipping, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the coordination of customer mailings to help promote our products.
  • Complete projects assigned by Customer Service Manager and Account Managers.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.

 

As a customer service rep, you will be assigned dedicated accounts to build relationships with, as well as work with retail accounts to assist with inquiries and orders.  These inquiries and orders are received via telephone, email, fax, and web chats, so strong communications skills are important.  Must love communicating with people and work well with others.

 

Qualifications:

  • College degree & previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time, and prioritize.
  • Timely, accurate and thorough follow-up.
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Possess the interpersonal skills needed to work with a variety of personalities & effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, phone skills, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient and accurate keyboarding skills.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., set in a fun and friendly atmosphere and providing excellent benefits and perks.
