Job Description/Responsibilities
The SIU School of Dental Medicine is seeking candidates for an Assistant/Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor. This is a full-time, continuing, tenure-track position in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching in the pre-doctoral program and service to the University. For tenure-track appointments, independent research and scholarly activity is also expected. Working in collaboration with other faculty, both in research and teaching, is strongly encouraged. Extramural faculty practice is available.

Terms of Appointment
Full-time, continuing, tenure-track/tenure position beginning July 1, 2018.

Salary
Commensurate with credentials and experience. Excellent benefits package included.

Minimum Qualifications
A D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from a CODA accredited dental school. Advanced education program in Prosthodontics, board eligibility or certification, demonstrated interest in teaching and research are desired. Candidates holding an M.S. degree are preferred. Applicants must be able to meet the requirements for permanent or faculty restricted licensure in Illinois.
