Job Description
The School of Nursing at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is seeking candidates for three (3) full-time, tenure-track nursing faculty positions. Responsibilities of these positions include teaching in the school of nursing, service to the School of Nursing and other constituencies relevant to the mission of the organization, and for scholarship relevant to the practice of nursing, the nursing profession, or the education of nurses.

Qualifications
Preferred candidates must have teaching experience and/or clinical experience in undergraduate or graduate programs in the area of medical-surgical, maternal health, pediatrics, psychiatric-mental health, public health, family nurse practitioner, nurse anesthesia, or health care nursing administration. A doctorate (Ph.D., EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) is required for faculty position. Teaching experience and research experience preferred. Illinois and Missouri licenses or eligibility for such licenses is required.

Terms of Appointment
Academic term, tenure-track/tenure position beginning mid-August 2019.
