Job Description
Location: Any Dot Distribution Center Department: Dot Transportation, Inc (DTI) Reports To: Director of Freight Sales
Your Role: To manage Dot Foods’ global supply chain and logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective
movement of product. This position will create and implement supply chain systems and processes to improve
profitability and enhance the quality of service regarding Dot Foods’ international business.

• Selects and manages service provider and freight forwarder relationships to ensure the cost-efficient and timely movement of our product with optimum performance
• Negotiates prices and terms with service providers and freight forwarders
• Supervises communication with overseas manufacturing, freight forwarders, custom brokers, and third-party warehouse locations to ensure all procurement activities are smoothly coordinated from order to delivery
• Supports Savor Imports Category Managers and Dot Replenishment to analyze inventory positioning to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and enhance customer service levels
• Manages third-party inventory information including inventory control records, physical inventory audits, and reconciliations
• Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste

Role Specifics:
• Travel – Ability to travel internationally and within the United States approximately 3-5 days per month, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train for customer/vendor calls, training or meetings

We Need You To Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dot experience
• 3+ years International Supply Chain experience
• Experience managing 3rd party service provider relationships
(Warehousing, Ocean Freight, and Forwarders)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft office programs
