Job Description

Front Desk Associates:
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
  • Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel. Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Must have prior hotel and customer service experience.
  • Complete all Guest Service Representative functions, in addition to accurately recording all revenue and statistics, completing daily Housekeeping reports, and segmenting room and house reports to proper markets.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and effectively explain items such as common reports, guest folios and emergency procedures.
  • Audit guest accounts to ensure that room rate and coding is correct and consistent.Audit house accounts.
  • Audit group accounts to ensure that postings to these accounts are in accordance with the sales contract.
  • Run all computer reports to complete gross revenue report worksheets. Input gross revenue report figures and complete the gross revenue reports in a timely manner.

Night Auditor:

Housekeeper:
  • Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
  • Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
  • Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
  • Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
  • Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
  • Assist in Laundry as needed.
Breakfast Attendant:
  • Assist in preparation, cooking and presentation of food
  • Responsible for greeting every guest/customers with a smile and positive attitude
  • Prepare and present items, organize and maintain a clean service area, clean tables and area, and follow all health codes.
  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of needed supplies, ensure all areas are clean before shift, and be familiar with hotel facilities and their location and hours.

Maintenance Person

Job Purpose: To repair and maintain physical structure of hotel

Job Responsibilities: Maintain hotel, pool, and surrounding area, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC functions, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools. Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Respond to guest requests for service according to company policy. Keep records of rooms completed. Program phone equipment according to hotel needs. Observe equipment and utility meter readings on a daily basis. Stay accessible to Front Desk and Chief Engineer. Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets. Ensure par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies. Learn emergency procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills: Understand and use specifications. Work to precise measurements. Use arithmetic to measure, compute amount of materials to use, and to inspect product to be sure it conforms to requirements. Lift and move materials and products. Climb and balance self. Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
