Job Description

SIUE is pleased to announce Open Recruitment to fill various current openings for Building Service Workers.  To help maintain a pleasant, healthy and safe environment for the entire University community, Building Service Workers are responsible for the daily cleaning and care of campus buildings.  These duties can include general cleaning, floor treatment, refuse disposal, recycling collection, event set ups, pest control, and other similar functions.  Building Service Workers may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities in support of the department’s mission and goals.

Working hours and shifts may vary including day, midnights, weekends, and late evenings.  Final shifts will be assigned at hire.?  SIUE’s generous benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, pension plan, vacation and sick leave, and tuition waivers.
