JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: |
This role co-leads and handles benefits coordination, program implementation, vendor relationships, and employee engagement as part of the benefits team, and is the key team member responsible for the Wellness Program. Primary areas of daily focus include overseeing enrollments, compliance, system and process troubleshooting, and internal training, as well as support of other critical HR Functions and Benefit Personnel . |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: |
- Wellness Coordination
- Assumes the Lead Role in Championing/Implementation of this area
- Chairs/Manages the newly developing 4M Wellness Committee
- Assumes primary relationship role with Vendor Contact(s)
- Monitors enrollment and participation statistics
- Presents options and opportunities for Supervisor/HR Vice President approval
- Provides continuous communication and emphasis of program goals
- Fosters and develops buy-in at the Operational Management Level
- Ensures all communication is effectively reaching the intended audience
- Proactively leads and encourages the search for ideas/materials
- Proactively seeks effective best practices to improve participation
- Benefit Coordination
- Team Member Enrollments/Terminations
- Primary contact for Team Member processes/inquiries
- Primary contact for PayCor Vendor processes and issue Tickets
- WinTeam and PayCor eligibility and enrollment data entry/uploads
- Payroll Other Deduction entries
- Running reports for eligibility – ACA/AFLAC/Standard/Union
- COBRA Enrollments and Monthly Insurance Premium Payments
- Responds to State & Court Medical Notices and Inquiries
- Reviews EDI files from Carriers for accuracy and corrections
- Performs Dependent Verifications and Documentation
- Open Enrollment(s) – All facets of the Annual Processes
- Perform and Assist with Related Work as Needed
- Leave of Absence Processes
- STD/LTD Processes
- Maintains relationships with Insurance Carrier Contacts
- Travels to Acquisition sites, as needed or directed
- Performs Other Work as Needed
- Assists with Data Export Projects – PayCor and WinTeam
- Uses Excel to perform advanced Filtering/Data Consolidation, etc.
Attends Teams Meetings, Trainings, and Webinars for Development

Competencies:
QUALIFIED TEAM MEMBER'S MUST HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE EITHER ACADEMICALLY OR FROM PRIOR WORK HISTORY (OR BOTH) USING SOFTWARE SYSTEMS FOR THE TRACKING OF CRITICAL INFORMATION AND PROCESSES, AS WELL AS COMPETENCY OR ADVANCED
COMPETENCY IN MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS -
PRIMARILY EXCEL AND COMMUNICATION TOOLS SUCH AS OUTLOOK AND TEAMS, OR THEIR
EQUIVALENTS. DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN HRIS SYSTEMS, INSURANCE BENEFITS, OR PAYROLL SYSTEMS IDEAL BUT NOT REQUIRED. |
