The People Partnerships Coordinator II helps further the mission of FamilyForward by performing Human Resources (HR) related duties at a professional level, supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role provides day-to-day HR administration, compliance support, HRIS maintenance, onboarding coordination, benefits support, and employee records management. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing knowledgeable and confidential support on HR matters. This position works closely with the Director of People Partnerships and the People & Culture team to advance HR operations, culture, and engagement initiatives.

What to expect on a given day as a People Partnerships Coordinator II: 

  • You’ll perform day-to-day human resources administrative duties with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • You'll be a main point of contact for employee questions and communications.
  • You’ll support the application and communication of company policies to promote consistency across employees and managers.
  • You will ensure accurate maintenance of reports and trackers for critical HR processes such as onboarding, employee status changes, performance management, compliance training, background screening, and leave administration.
  • You will support departmental goals, projects, and initiatives. 
  • You will coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, references, and all new hire documentation. 
  • You will assist with duties related to the full employee life cycle including recruiting, onboarding, development, and offboarding. 
  • You’ll facilitate onboarding and orientation, including scheduling, communications, materials, and compliance tasks (I-9, E-Verify, and all other new hire documentation). 
  • You will conduct new hire orientation and coordinate refreshments, supplies, and orientation lunches. 
  • You’ll maintain accurate and compliant personnel, medical, and I-9 files. 
  • You’ll ensure the proper confidentiality of all sensitive information. 
  • You will provide administrative support to the Director of People Partnerships for leaves of absence, including FMLA documentation and communication. 
  • You’ll provide support to the Director of People Partnerships with benefits administration and open enrollment communications and documentation. 
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System); help troubleshoot and escalate issues when needed. 
  • You’ll assist with maintaining People and Culture internal website (SharePoint) information, documents, and other HR systems. 
  • You will support the creation and maintenance of workflows and how-to instructions for employees and managers. 
  • You will represent FamilyForward at career fairs, information sessions, tabling opportunities, and industry events, as needed. 
  • You’ll support employee recognition, wellness, and engagement programs. 
  • You will provide support to the Director of People Partnerships with employee relations by helping prepare documentation, taking notes during interviews, or conducting stay or exit interviews when assigned. 

You would be a good fit for this position if you: 

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Have 1-3 years experience in Human Resources, required. 
  • Have familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as ADP, Paycom, or Paylocity required; experience with Paylocity is a plus. 
  • If you have general knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures.
  • If you have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, discretion with confidential information, and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Have knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws affecting HR administration.
  • If you have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.

Working Conditions

This position requires sustained periods of work on the computer, including writing/typing. This position requires frequent and prolonged communication with others, in-person and via telephone/virtual conferencing. The employee will be asked to move around rooms or within a space. The employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, or greater with assistance. The employee must have transportation to all Agency sites, including external locations where events are held. This position occasionally requires evening and/or weekend work. This position is hybrid but requires physical presence in the office at least three (3) days per week, and travel to other Agency locations as needed.

Salary Description
$24.00 - $26.44/hour equivalent to $50,000 - $55,000/year
