Job Description
Location: Mt. Sterling, IL Department: Information Technology Reports To: IT Recruiting & Training Manager
Your Role: Assists in managing the pre-employment process for our IT team. This includes processing
applicant phone screens, participating in candidate interviews, processing any needed pre-emplyment testing or
screening and providing timely follow-up to all applicants. This role will also be responsible for various
administrative tasks for the IT department or the Corporate Recruiting team, as needed.

• Maintains the on-line application system with pre-employment information and processes applications in a
timely and efficient manner.
• Receives and processes applicant phone calls and messages regarding the application process.
• Order and administer pre-employment testing to applicants, including but not limited to drug tests,
background and reference checks and various testing related to individual job performance.
• Attend job fairs and college visits to promote Dot and recruit talent
• Applies lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Role Specifics:
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00-5:00, with some schedule flexibility
• Occasional overnight travel to company meetings or events. Must have the ability to travel independently,
as needed, by any mode of transportation, including by car, plane, or train.

We Need You To Have:
• High school diploma or general equivalency degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Trustworthiness to handle confidential information

• College degree
• Experience in recruiting and/or hiring practices
• Strong organization and attention to detail
