• Prior Legal Experience

• Organization, attention to detail and follow-up
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English
• Basic experience in a professional/office environment
• Typing Speed (50+ words/min.)
• Excellent communication skills (listening, interpreting, formulating, speaking clearly and politely)
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Windows and other computer programs
• Ability to learn quickly                                                                              
• Good people skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work assignments
• Very positive attitude. Hard working and conscientious. Enjoys challenge and welcomes change
• Creative, inquisitive thinker with problem solving capability
• Professional attire, appearance and mannerisms
Duties Include:
• Interpreting Spanish to English and English to Spanish
• Heavy client contact both in-person and telephonically
• Attending to the Firm’s heavy phone volume
• Written and telephonic correspondence with medical providers, police departments, clients, judicial assistants, court clerks and others
• Procurement of Certified Copies of Medical Records and Itemized Medical Statements
• Management and complete file workup of client case files
• Setting appointments and maintaining the daily calendar
• Opening and closing files
• Procurement of supplies
• Processing daily mail, paperwork and filing
• Accounts Payable / Receipt and Processing of Payments
• General Ledger Accounting
• Monthly reconciliation of bank statements
• Posting of Payroll to Firm’s accounting software
• Maintenance of remittances and postings of the Firm’s 401(k) plan
• Maintenance of remittances and postings of the Firm’s Medical Insurance plan
